"Where is the longest noodle in the world?"
"What is the deepest creek in the world?"
I wish I had the answers.

Julia the literalist
We were at the dinner table last night talking about one of our cats going to the vet the next day. Mindy had called to schedule an appointment and they said they could squeeze her in. Mindy mentioned that phrase "squeeze her in" several times.
Julia, a little later in the conversation, stopped us to get clarification, "Excuse me mommy, where are they going to squeeze Molly?"
It took us a minute to register, but really made us laugh. We tried to explain the situation better to our very literal little girl.

The Rivalry, Cookies vs Watermelon
Juila said, "I don't know which is better, cookies or watermelon." After a long pause and much deliberation she concluded, "I think it's watermelon."
Game over, cookies.

Julia says, "The thing I like about straws is they don't let me get a mess on my face."

Ice Crabbin'
I took Julia ice fishing for her Birthday (yes she really wanted to do this) and it was pretty fun. At one point while we were in the portable ice shack we had this conversation:
Julia: What is that noise out there?
Me: That would be a woodpecker.
Julia: Oh, I thought it was a crab coming closer to our shanty.

The sky is falling?
We have a train that goes by the house and the kids really like to watch it. One day when it was really foggy, the train was going by and Julia said, "I can't see it cuz the sky is in the way!"
Oh, and one more thing:
"Bees make apple pie." - Julia

Julia is disappointed
When I was putting the girls to bed tonight, Julia (3 yrs.) started crying. I asked here what was wrong and she said, "You disappointed me."
Not sure what to think of that, I asked how I disappointed her and she responded, "By talking to me."
I assured her that I was done talking and she could go to sleep now. That seemed to make her feel much better.

Hold your broken leg this way
Julia can be a pretty funny little girl. Yesterday she said, out of the blue,
"I've got a broken leg. This leg is broken because it hurts when I'm walking on it. That's why I have to hold it like this."

And The World Will Be A Messy Place
While they were driving past some construction, Julia says to Mindy,
"Those guys are making the world so messy!"

Wounded Pillow
Juila came up with this idea that her pillow at night was "wounded". We finally figured out that she called it wounded when it needed to be fluffed up.
It was hard to keep a straight face when Julia would get a sad face at bed time and say, "Daddy, my pillow is wounded."

Introducing ... Julia
Coming into the living room, Julia said to Mindy, "Mommy, this couch pretty nice (made of legos). Sing happy birthday to this couch."
