Dahlia was asking Mindy yesterday about why I had to go to work. Mindy replied with the answer that seemed to satisfy the other children in the past, "Daddy has to make money so we can have food and clothes, and a house, etc".
Dahlia would not take this at face value. She came up with a better solution.
"Daddy could just stay home with us until we run out of food. Then when we need more food, he could go back to work until we have enough money to buy food."
I would classify that as some pragmatic Lean Thinking.
